Why choose a Midi over a Mini or a Throw?
It's our versatile in-between option! Bigger than a mini, so it covers an adult lap but not too large that it's also great for young children. If you're unsure which size to gift, the midi is the low-risk choice, especially as a smaller and more portable option than our full throw.
What size is a Midi Blanket?
Midi blankets are 36 by 48 inches, between our Mini (30 by 40 inches) and Throw (50 by 60 inches) sizes
Is a Midi Blanket big enough for an adult?
Yes. It comfortably covers a lap and shoulders while reading, working, or relaxing. Though, for full-body couch or bed use, we'd recommend our Throw Blanket instead (50 by 60 inches).
Is a Midi Blanket good for travel or on the go?
Yes. The size packs down easily for the car, a stroller, an office, or a dorm.
What are they made from?
All Midi Blankets (and every other Biquette knit) are fully made in small-batches in our Long Island facility from premium natural fibers like super soft Egyptian cotton, organic cotton, and extra-fine merino wool.
These fibers are specifically chosen to be gentle and soft against skin, durable through plenty of washing, and provide a subtle luxurious quality that you can tell an immediate difference against synthetic fibers.
Who designs the patterns?
Our knit designs are heavily curated and created in collaboration with independent artists, so each piece is an original work you won't find anywhere else.
